AMU SERIES

AMU - Abrasive Mixing Units.


The AMU series was standardised for various industrial application ranges. Amongst these are the decommissioning and maintenance of offshore structures and plant in the petrochemical and nuclear technology industries. The unit designation always refers to the maximum working pressure and the gross capacity of the pressure vessel. In combination with a conventional high-pressure pump, the various pressure levels and nozzle diameters can be individually adjusted to the task in hand.

AMU 1200-20

AMU with 1,200 bar maximum and 42 kW hydraulic power maximum at the nozzle.

 

The pressure level of 1,200 bar is suited for cutting steel up to 150 mm in air at a feed speed of up to 16 mm/min.

 

Standard-fitted with a 20 l/ 40 kg abrasive medium tank, this system is also available with a 40 l/ 80 kg pressure vessel.

AMU 1500-40

AMU with 1,500 bar maximum and 55 kW hydraulic power maximum at the nozzle.

 

The pressure level of 1,500 bar is suited for cutting steel up to 200 mm in air at a feed speed of up to 13 mm/min.

 

The system is fitted with a 40 l/ 80 kg abrasivepressure vessel.

AMU 2000-40

AMU with 2,000 bar maximum and 89 kW hydraulic power maximum at the nozzle.

  

The pressure level of 2,000 bar is suited for cutting steel up to 250 mm in air at a feed speed of up to 12 mm/min.

 

This system is equipped with a 40 l/ 80 kg abrasive pressure vessel.

AMU 2500-Series

AMU with 2,400 bar maximum and 200 kW hydraulic power maximum at the nozzle.

  

The pressure level of 2,500 bar is suited for cutting steel up to 500 mm in air. With a steel thickness of 300 mm the feed speed is up to 12 mm/min.

  

The system is standard-fitted with a 100 l/ 200 kg abrasive pressure vessel and is available in different variants in single or twin design and also with smaller abrasive pressure vessels
