On the 14th of November 2003 the NPP Stade was shut down from its operators EON and Vattenfall because of economic reasons. Since that date the NPP is being dismantled.\n
The dismantling is organised in five stages:<\/p>\n
Stage 1: Dismantling of no longer required plant components for the remaining operation; preparation of further dismantling steps; creating of necessary infrastructure.<\/p>\n
Stage 2: Dismantling of large components in the reactor containment vessel; especially steam generators.<\/p>\n
Stage 3: Dismantling of the reactor pressure vessel (with cap), the internals, biological shield as well as other systems and components.<\/p>\n
Stage 4: Dismantling of the remaining contaminated plant components; evidence of the absence of contamination; dismissal of the remaining structures from nuclear regulatory control.<\/p>\n
Stage 5: Conventional demolition of the building.<\/p>\n
As of March 2017 it is assumed that the dismantling will last until 2023. The costs were estimated at one billion Euros.
ANT was commissioned by Siempelkamp for the project \u201cDismantling of the reactor pressure vessel\u201d. This project was integrated in stage three of the dismantling. Therefor the ANT AG designed and build a turning table for the reactor pressure vessel (RPV). It serves for the intake and turning of the RPV while disassembly.<\/p>\n
Furthermore for the disassembly itself a segmentation robot with mast system and a supporting lift were invented and implemented. The used robots worked with oxy-fuel cutting (propane and oxygen) and abrasive cutting. The project was assigned and performed in 2009.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
