ANT Applied New Technologies AG

We produce systems for the WAS (Water Abrasive Suspension) cutting process.

ANT AG was set up in July 1999 and since then has successfully specialised in the fields of WAS cutting technology and special-purpose machinery. We produce systems for the WAS (Water Abrasive Suspension) cutting process. Various venture capital investors have taken shares in the company and see an expanding future market for this technology.

At ANT professionell and motivated staff is necessary. The training and experience as well as the personal commitment of each individual guarantees the high quality and functionality of our systems and their successful application at the customer’s site. We ensure our technological know-how by having a great proportion of our staff as engineers.

1996

The GO Ahead

Blending units, cutting guide systems (manipulators) and pumping units have been developed and built for waterjet cutting systems since 1996.

1997

Nuclear

Among other tasks, the company dismantled the Kahl experimental nuclear power plant at Grosswelzheim, Bavaria. Since then it has always been operating in the nuclear technology/nuclear sector.

1999

Foundation of ANT AG

In July 1999, ANT, i.e. Applied New Technologies AG, emerged from three companies specialising in special machine engineering, industrial re-assembly and disassembly, and WAS cutting procedures.

1999

EOD

ANT AG marketed its first solutions for EOD/IODD disposal for the purposes of disposing of and defusing improvised weapons.

1999

Offshore

ANT AG entered the offshore business (oil & gas P&A) with the design of mixing units for the service provider “UWG” in the UK.

2002

Product launch

The miniMACE and the MACE (Mobile Abrasive Cutting Equipment) were sold by the names they have been known as until now, having first been produced in 2002.

2004

Industry

With its first special application, ANT AG found its way into industry with the waterjet cutting of drinking water well pipes.

2004

Product launch

The AMU 2500-100 (Abrasive Mixing Units) was sold by the name it has been known as until now, having been produced for the first time in 2004.

2006

Technology leader

From 2006 to the present day, ANT AG has been able to maintain its global technological leadership in the field of WAS (water abrasive suspension) cutting systems.

2010

Research & Development

Management started with the development of a stationary continuous cutting system (ConSus – Continuous Suspension) to supply the market of waterjet table manufacturers.

2013

Research & Development

The needs of offshore customers were assisted by ANT AG through the development of an erosion tool for the penetration of deformations of oil pipes occurring at great depth, namely the wellANT.

2016

Product launch

First presentation of ConSus (Continuous Suspension, stationary continuous cutting machine) at the Euroblech fair in Hanover and in 2017 the launch of ConSus on the market in the German-speaking world.
