Frequently Asked Questions – Service Packages by ANT AG
An MSA covers all essential services: certified training, scheduled maintenance, remote or on-site support, OEM spare parts, and rental equipment. Everything under one contract – for reliable and efficient maintenance and operations.
A Service Agreement turns maintenance into a planned, low-impact routine: we schedule yearly/bi-yearly services around your campaign windows, spread costs evenly across the contract term, keep OEM spares on call, and commit to response times and availability. Result: higher uptime, predictable spend, trained operators, and documented compliance.
Yes – all packages are modular and can be tailored to your needs. Choose from predefined tiers (Standard, Pro, Premium) or customize your own service setup based on your project scope.
Structure & goals
- Standard– Safety awareness, WAS system & AMU overview, routine checks/maintenance. Goal: operate safely, perform pre-use inspections, support pre-mob testing.
- Pro – DCH systems & manipulators, Abrasive-Mixing-Unit and Setup configuration, troubleshooting under campaign conditions. Goal: set up tools correctly, diagnose issues fast, minimize downtime.
- Premium – Campaign planning, risk mitigation, 3S controller use & signal interpretation (punch-through, speed adjustments, escalation). Goal: plan/lead safe, efficient cuts and make evidence-based decisions.
Delivery formats
- On-site / offshore during live deployments to build confidence under real conditions.
- Remote refreshers & pre-job briefings
What’s covered (examples by system)
- AMU 2500-100 MK2: start-up/shutdown, parameters, inspection routines, safe handling.
- DCH 1/2/3/4/ PCH: clamping & extension logic, configuration ranges, limits, maintenance points.
- 3S Cut Verification: traffic-light thresholds, recognizing punch-through, adjusting rotation speed.
Certification & records
- Certified training with documented checklists and training reports that support HSE/OEM audit trails. Annual refreshers recommended; additional refreshers for complex systems/supervisors.
Prerequisites & tailoring
- No prior ANT certification required. We tailor duration/scope to your spread and crew experience and can align sessions to pre-mob windows so operators train on the exact equipment they’ll use.
Yes. We provide certified service technicians to support your teams during campaigns .
Definitely. Our experts are available globally for remote troubleshooting, campaign planning, and technical support, through our premium package.
We keep certified OEM spares for all key systems and run a contracted spare-coverage program: forecasted min/max levels, reserved allocation for your contract, and call-off with agreed lead times. Where helpful, we stage stock near your facility to cut transit time. For capacity peaks, rental equipment is available.
On-the-job maintenance: During live operations, our technicians carry out the correct maintenance steps (inspection, lubrication, parameter checks) so wear doesn’t build up unnoticed—while your operators gain confidence under real conditions.
Between jobs we run pre-storage and pre-mob readiness checks: we verify system condition and cleanliness (e.g., AMU/DCH visual and functional checks), replace wear parts as needed, document findings, and confirm readiness for the next campaign—covering documentation, spares, and, where applicable, test cuts/pressure tests—so nothing “ages on the shelf” and gaps are caught early without schedule risk.vPlanned service windows: Annual or bi-annual services are scheduled around your operations (port/yard/offshore). Scope and timing are defined at contract start and locked 60–90 days before campaign kick-off.
Inspections & Certification (AMU and pressure vessels/cylinders)
On request, ANT arranges AMU inspections/certification and recurring pressure-vesselinspections to be carried out exclusively by an Approved Inspection Body (AIB; in Germany: ZÜS) in accordance with applicable law and OEM specifications. ANT’s role covers scheduling, equipment/document preparation and on-site support, plus maintaining the service log for HSE/OEM audits and warranty. Inspection, testing, certification and marking (seal/sticker) are performed solely by the AIB/ZÜS, and the results are recorded in your service file.
What you’ll see in practice: less breakdowns, faster turnarounds, longer equipment life, and calmer mobilisations because equipment arrives proven ready.
Basic operator refresher training is recommended annually. For complex systems or supervisory roles, we recommend additional training at regular intervals – especially when equipment updates are introduced.
